Mobile enrollment tour helps 75 in Kent apply on Healthplanfinder

UPDATE: More than 130 people visited last weekend’s South King County enrollment event, featuring Washington Healthplanfinder’s Mobile Tour. Some came just for information or advice, while 75 met with In-Person Assisters to apply for coverage, via the Healthplanfinder website.

The event featured three languages, 15 assisters, and support from Public Health – Seattle & King County director and health officer Dr. David Fleming and the executive director of Washington Health Benefit Exchange, Richard Onizuka.

The tour brings a long trailer, equipped with laptops and desks for enrollment. A nearby Kent Parks building served to handle the large numbers of people seeking help. Check out the photo gallery below for a sense of what it was like.
