INFOGRAPHIC: Who are the uninsured?

CROPPED Washington Healthplanfinder Infographic - Uninsured

About a quarter of Washington state residents are uninsured, but an estimated 90% will be eligible for financial help, through  Washington Healthplanfinder, which opens for business Oct. 1.

(This infographic and similar resources come from the Washington Health Benefits Exchange.)

Note: In King County, we estimate 180,000 adults are uninsured and will qualify for coverage, and the goal set by King County Executive Dow Constantine is to enroll all of them under the new health care law. Overall, nearly 220,000 adults in King County are uninsured, but some aren’t allowed to purchase insurance through Washington Healthplanfinder, for reasons including their immigration status.
